Community Engagement

Jamie is a veteran of Ottawa’s high-tech community—having worked at Nortel, Ericsson and now Ciena—as well as a veteran of TEDxKanata. He’s attended and volunteered at every TEDxKanata, except for one he missed due to travel.

He has a passion for learning and for finding focus and clarity, both at work and in life. His favourite TED Talk is “How to Tie Your Shoes” by Terry Moore because it shows that we should all have the humility to examine how we do things, even if they seem simple.
